Lead Capture Pages - How Can You Promote Them Part 3

Now let's talk about some of the traffic methods you should consider for your lead generation campaign.

#1. Pay-Per-Click Marketing - With this type of advertising you can bid on a particular keyword and your advertisement will display in the search results whenever somebody searches for your keyword. When a visitor clicks on your ad it will cost you money (you'll set the amount of your bid). This type of marketing is extremely targeted as you are dealing with search traffic. Pay-Per-Click marketing is very attractive to marketers promoting some of the direct sales opportunities that pay large commissions of $1000 or more as the ROI can be very high. If you had to spend $300 in pay-per-click to make a $1000 sale I would do that all day long. People are catching on though and the market is getting competitive. Expect to pay upwards of $1.00 per click to be on some of the more desirable keywords. When promoting on PPC search engines having top notch lead capture pages targeted to your keywords is a must if you want the absolute maximum response.

Some great PPC Networks are Google Adwords, Overture/Yahoo Search Marketing, BidClix, Miva & Enhance. There are several others but the aforementioned is where I would start my research.

#2. Newspaper/Magazine Advertising - This is a form of tried and true advertising perfect for the purpose of lead generation. Print ad's have been around for decades and were being used even before the Internet if you can believe it! In this day and age to many home business entrepreneurs get caught up in all of the hype surrounding the Internet they often leave some of the best advertising honey holes untouched. I would find it extremely hard to believe if your county, city or town did not have one or several smaller local publications put out by various groups in the community. These are excellent sources of advertising. They are inexpensive, you can reach a wide spectrum of readers and they are going to be local to the area you advertise in. A small simple ad in the paper directing potential prospects to your lead capture page is all that is needed.

Think with a little creativity as well and don't be afraid to think outside of the box when it comes to newspaper advertising. Everybody who tries it goes straight for the obvious and wants to run their ad in the "business opportunities" section. Don't get me wrong it's a great place but here is an example of thinking outside the box when it comes to classifieds.

Let’s say you are promoting a higher ticket direct sales product. The commission per sale is $1000+ in your pocket… Who do you think reading the paper would be interested in putting $1000+ in their pocket too?

I could be wrong but I would say anybody looking for a home may want to earn a little extra money or what about someone looking to buy an expensive car they could probably use some extra cash. Most importantly we are advertising to people that have money! If they are looking at $500,000 homes and luxury cars they obviously have a bit of cash in the bank and could be excellent candidates for your business.

How can you reach them with a classified ad?

Well if you wanted to write a classified ad that would reach someone looking for a home and possibly interest them in your opportunity you could place your ad in the real estate section of the paper. Your ad could say.

Need Extra Cash For A Down Payment?
Simple, very lucrative business opportunity.
Earn the money to buy your dream home!
www.website.com

You’re not going to get a 1000 leads or anything from a small, lower circulation ad like this but you will generate of leads and break some fresh ground in your business. Consistency is key when you are using print advertising and once you start to see a return it's time to start spending more and finding fresh sources.

There are so many smaller local publications you can advertise in that there should never be a problem sourcing any. Keep your eyes open as you travel about your town. Some good places to find these publications are local newsstands, restaurants, airports, rec centers, sports groups and local organizations.

#3. Article Writing And Syndication. - One of the questions I am honestly asked almost every single day is "Carl, How do I get my lead capture page to the #1 spot in Google, Yahoo or any major search engine?" The answer is always the same. You Can't! Lead capture pages are just simple one page websites and in the search engines eyes, provide very little valuable content. Getting one's lead capture page actually naturally ranked in the search engines is going to be an extremely tough go and I won't get into it with this article.

But what if I told you there was a way for you to get anyone of the top 10 spots in Google or Yahoo for a keyword directly related to your business within one week. That's right I said One Week. Would you be interested in that? Write an article about your business or products and submit to the major article and content directories. Webmasters are constantly looking for fresh new content they can put up on their websites for visitors to view. If they decide to publish your work you will get to link back to your lead capture page from your authors box in the article. By submitting your articles to some of the major content directories you'll also be able to see your articles possibly picked up by the big search engines within one week. In fact I've submitted articles that were picked up on the first page of Google for their keywords within just a few days. It can work great for you in the short term if you write a really good article that is picked up by hundreds or thousands of sites.

Personally I think article writing is something that should be looked at as a long-term strategy. If you just wrote 1 article a week about your business or products you would have 52 in a year. That can equate to major leverage in the search engines and 1 article a week is being extremely lazy.

#4. Write A Press Release - Did your company create something revolutionary or newsworthy. Let the world know by writing a press release or even having one written for you about the event, product or discovery. Press releases when done correctly can be an excellent source of traffic for a lead generation campaign. Personally I wouldn't try writing one myself I would go to the professionals at prweb.com or somewhere similar and have one or two written for you. Press releases also have a knack for getting picked up and syndicated in the search engines. It's another great marketing strategy to definitely look into.

Generating your own leads doesn't have to be a chore. It's a fun process and extremely exciting when you start to see an advertising campaign delivering fresh leads to your inbox daily. Hopefully this article helped to shed a little more light on the topic.

In part 2 of my short series I'll share some of the traffic scams to avoid.

#1. Guaranteed Visitors - This is usually garbage traffic and not worth your investment. Guaranteed visitors are usually delivered to you in the form of popups or popunder advertising. With the web browsers we have today and their built in popup blockers these ads are rarely seen by most web surfers. This is probably one of the biggest pitfalls to avoid when spending money to market online. It will deliver very little response.

#2. SEO Optimization - Search Engine Optimization is an excellent source of quality traffic. The only problem is that there are so many snake oil salesman out there trying to sell SEO services that the market has become incredibly diluted not to mention competitive. Lead capture pages provide little more then self promotional content and are extremely difficult to rank in search engines. This is coming from someone who holds several #1 positions for keywords in Google so I am not new to the game. I've seen plenty of Network Marketers get taken by some of these shady firms.

#3. Email Blasts - This is yet another pitfall you'll want to avoid. There are literally thousands of companies offering email blasts to marketers. They will usually offer to mail your ad to a specified number of opportunity seekers. The major problem you'll encounter is SPAM complaints. It doesn't take very many of these for a company to terminate your distributorship. You don't like receiving junk mail so what makes you think others do? There are better ways to market then email blasting.

Side Note: If a company contacts you because they have found one of your online advertisements and they are pitching their own campaigns back to you how well do you think their marketing works if they have to chase clients?

So you've got your lead capture page all built and squared away and are ready to start generating your own company specific MLM leads.

Where do you start to advertise and how?

Well let me put it to you this way… As a network marketer you should be very familiar with the phrase "Multiple Streams Of Income" am I right? As a home based business person it's important to develop multiple streams of income so that when one stream dries up you'll have another to fall back on. The same applies to MLM lead generation but instead of multiple streams of income we want to create multiple streams of traffic to our lead capture page. The more traffic you have the more leads you will be able to generate.

I am willing to bet the farm that MOST of you who decide you're going to promote via Google Adwords or Overture will chase after and bid on the most obvious keywords available.

These would be:

“home based business"

Etc…. Any combinations of the above…

Hello….? Do you realize the term "mlm opportunity" could encompass more than 1000 different types of opportunity?

It’s an extremely broad keyword that while it is targeted can never really produce you a targeted stream of leads simply because we don't know what "kind" of "mlm opportunity" the searcher is looking for it could literally be any one of over 20 different industries.

The beauty of the search engines is that you can narrow down the field.

Optimizing Your Lead Capture Page For The Search Engines. Part 3

Yesterday we touched on how effective articles and article writing can be if you are trying to SEO (search engine optimize) your lead capture page.

Another way you can very effectively acquire one-way links to your lead capture page is through starting your own blog. With a blog you can easily create blog posts or entries describing your products and opportunity you can include links back to your lead capture page(s). resulting in one-way links.

You can also use your blog to do what's called a triangular or 3 way link exchange.
If you have your blog and a lead capture page you have 2 sites right…?

So what we do is use our blog to exchange links with other related websites. We place their link on our blog but we ask them to place a link leading back to our lead capture page from their site. So in actual fact each of you will be getting a one way link. Hence why it's called a triangular or 3-way link exchange.

This can actually be one of the most effective methods of Search engine optimizing your lead capture page but it's not an instant solution. A linking campaign can take several hours of boring work.

I won't go into all of the details about setting up a blog here but you can find some more great information about blogging at Blog Your MLM an information website I created all about blogging your MLM.

In many cases it is possible to be on the first page of search results for an MLM company name or product name with less then 25 incoming links to your website. The competition for natural search engine rankings is really not that fierce for many MLM companies and products.
And if you're just getting started here are a few more places where you can place your links and have them count as backlinks to your website.

FreeMLMAdvertising.Com - This is a free site I created where you can post ad's about your products and opportunities. It's a blog and you can post as many times as you like. If you write a short article about your product or opportunity this would be a great place to put it. This blog is found for many different keywords within Google, Yahoo and MLM. A great place to submit your link.

FreeAdvertisingForum.Com - This is another free site where you can post your ads and get additional backlinks to your site. Don't count on this site to deliver much quality traffic but it will most definitely get your links spidered and generate backlinks to your lead capture page.
Almost ANY MLM or Network Marketing discussion boards ONLY if they allow a signature file are also great places to post your link. Many forums are spidered by all the major search engines and if you are an active poster utilizing the signature file the search engines will record these as backlinks as well.

Search engine optimization isn't a quick fix by any means and if you plan on doing this I would also be concentrating on generating other streams of traffic because linking your way into the search engine results can take a little time, effort and patience. When you get there though the reward will be an endless stream of super targeted visitors to your lead capture page which will result in a steady flow of company specific real time MLM leads for your business.

The first problem when trying to search engine optimize a lead capture page is that they rarely contain much more then a few paragraphs of text and a lead capture form. Most webmasters won't link back to you because they don't think you are providing quality content or information. I don't blame them either. I wouldn't want to be linking my visitors to someone else's lead capture page most marketers won't do that. This one factor alone can make the link building job extremely difficult and time consuming.

But if you're clever there are some simple ways around this. The goal to optimize a lead capture page is to gather as many incoming links as possible with your chosen company name or product name in the anchor text. We pick these keywords because they will most likely receive a lot of traffic and believe it or not most MLM and business opportunity company names have very little to no competition in the natural search results. Everybody seems to be chasing after the pay-per-click listings because the results are obviously much faster. However holding the top natural ranking in any search engine for your chosen keywords is going to be a huge asset to your business and should be something to consider if you're serious about your online presence.

One way we can gather incoming one way links to our lead capture page is to write and submit short articles to content directories on the web. The article marketing e-course I shared with you a few days ago can explain how to do this. Other webmasters will pick up these articles and post them on their websites, newsletters or blogs. Your resources box within the article will have a link or two back to your own lead capture page. These are very easy one-way links to acquire but the strategy does take some time and patience. With a good article writing campaign you could expect to see results within a few days, weeks or months. It will depend on the quality of articles you have written, the competitiveness of the keywords you are targeting and how many sites have actually picked up and published your articles.

Optimizing Your Lead Capture Page For The Search Engines. Part #1

This is a question I am asked at least once a day. Everybody wants to have their lead capture page show up on the first page of either Google, Yahoo or MSN the three biggest search engines. They don't want to pay either they want what is commonly referred to as "organic" or "natural" search engine ranking.

This means you have a well optimized website and the search engines are listing you as a search result because they deem your site to be highly relevant to the topic searched. It's a reward for having a killer website and spending the time doing things that search engines love.
One of the most important factors to gaining a high ranking in the search engines are incoming links.

What is an incoming link? Simple! An incoming link is a link to your website from another website. The most important part of that incoming link is your "anchor text" this is the actual wording that your link says. Example Great Lead Capture Pages this link leads back to http://www.ezleadcapture.com but when the search engines read that anchor text "Great Lead Capture Pages" they are going to take that as a very good description of what my website might be about. Every one of these links will count as a vote for my site for the keywords in my anchor text. Does this make any sense to you?

Obviously the more incoming links you have with your chosen anchor text the higher you will rank for the given phrase or keyword you have chosen. If you have 100 websites all pointing a link to your website that says "The Best Business Opportunity Ever" then the search engines are going to deem your site fairly important for the phrase "The Best Business Opportunity Ever" and you'll end up with a high search engine ranking.

Gaining incoming links to a lead capture page poses a problem for most webmasters and I'll be showing you why in part 2 of this E-Course.

Article Writing - A Real Time MLM Lead Generation Strategy. Part 3

When writing your articles it's important to keep note of what webmasters are looking for in an article before they choose to syndicate it. Some webmasters might be fairly picky with the articles they publish and really high traffic sites demand only the highest quality.

Here are some important points to consider when writing your articles.

- Make your title descriptive and try to include the prominent keywords you may want to be found under. AVOID hype in the title of your article.

- Make sure you have someone proofread or at least spell check your article for spelling and grammatical errors. Many article directories will not accept articles that have poor grammar and spelling.

- Try to include your chosen keywords (from the title) in your article a few times. Once or twice per paragraph would be fine. This is called keyword density. And is important for the one way link you'll receive back to your website. I won't go deeper as I don't want to confuse you just trust me on this one

- Try to keep the self promotion down. An article is supposed to provide information not an advertisement.

- Keep your authors box to only 3-5 lines and be sure to include your links within anchor text Like This and make sure your anchor text is the keywords you would like to be found under. So if it's health & wellness use health & wellness.

Here is an example of my authors box that I have used on several articles.

“Carl Sorensen is the owner of http://www.ezleadcapture.com his website provides custom designed lead capture pages for network marketers looking to generate their own Real Time MLM Leads."

Notice how I have placed TWO links in the authors box? On is the direct URL to my website and the second is a link to my website with the anchor text "Real Time MLM Leads". This is really important to the search engines. The more one-way links I have that say "real time mlm leads" the higher in the search engines that will page will rank? I hope this makes some sense!

It is not uncommon to actually have your articles that you've written show up on the first page of search results for Google, Yahoo or MSN. Below you will find a list of the sites and directories that I think are worth submitting your articles to.

1. GoArticles.Com - Great article directory - get your free account - common to have articles ranked in the search engines.

2. EzineArticles.Com - Great article directory - free account - common to have articles ranked in the search engines.

3. WorkOnInternet.Com - More of niche directory but very good for traffic and having articles show up in search results.

4. ArticleSender.Com - Free article submission service submits your article to hundreds of article directories. (Still testing no word on results yet)

These are just a few of the more popular ones to get you started. If you do a little searching you'll find many more article directories to submit to. The more articles you have floating around there the better chance you have of getting one picked up and published on a website.

I hope that this short tutorial on article writing has helped you to see the value in writing and submitting your own articles for the purpose of generating your own targeted MLM Leads. If you put this strategy into action you will see results.

Article Writing - A Real Time MLM Lead Generation Strategy. Part 2

The first thing you need to do before you even start writing an article is to decide what you want to write about. Keep in mind that you cannot write about your opportunity specifically (well you can try but article directories may not accept it) It's much better to write articles that provide really great information than promotional hype. This helps to establish your credibility and you'll come across as more of an expert on the subject as opposed to the slick promoter type.

Obviously you only want to be writing articles that are somewhat related to the field your business is in. For example if you are promoting a health and wellness opportunity then you would obviously want to write short articles about health and wellness. If you are promoting a business that sells motivational or educational products then you may want to write articles about the specific fields in which your business provides seminars or courses.

These articles don't have to be big long masterpieces that you spend all night on either… These are short 500 - 800 word articles. They should take no longer than 30 minutes or so to type out one or more articles.

What can you write about?

- Write an article about each specific ingredient in your health & wellness product. Write about the benefits or risks (if any) of each. This should provide you with several article ideas right away.

- Write an article sharing a promotional or recruiting tip you may have used successfully. Share it with others, You'll be rewarded.

- Write an article giving an unbiased comparison of a few different products in your industry.

There are seriously endless topics that you could write about and I'll leave the rest of that up to you and your own creativity. If you don't have the creative juices to get this happening for yourself you can always post the jobs on Elance and have "ghost writers" write the articles for you at super cheap costs… Usually between $5 - $15.00 per article written.

So how can writing articles really benefit you?

Well first off when you write and distribute original articles online webmasters will jump at the chance to publish your content on their website. You can include your authors box (much like a signature file in a forum) at the bottom of your article with a link to your lead capture page. This works for you THREE fold and here's why.

1. When a webmaster hosts your article on their website you are going to get traffic from them that will result in real time leads for your opportunity absolutely for free… The more you write and distribute the more you'll benefit.

2. When a webmaster hosts your article on their website you are getting a One-Way back link to your website or lead capture page or both. (whichever you included in your authors box) One-way links are proven to be one of the BEST ways to optimize any site for the search engines lead capture pages included.

3. You will be slowly building your credibility and coming across to people as an expert (providing you write a decent article) and it's a known fact that people like to deal with the experts on any subject.

Don’t get me wrong… Article writing isn't a quick fix (unless your lucky and write an awesome article that is syndicated by several high traffic sites) If you intend to employ this online marketing tactic you must be prepared to have patience. It takes a while for the content to be picked up and distributed. It can take a few months for things to start happening with the search engines from the back links.

If you could commit to writing just 3 articles a week that would be over 150 articles in 1 year… That content could be syndicated on hundreds if not thousands of websites, blogs and e-zines. It's a daunting task but if this is something you think you could do then definitely do it! I sincerely wish that I had started article writing much earlier. I always figured the time spent wouldn't pay off but I was very, very wrong.

Real Time MLM Leads - What's The Scoop?

You've probably heard from several network marketers how good their response has been when calling Real Time MLM Leads as opposed to leads that are a few days, a few weeks or even several months old. The only thing better than a Real Time MLM Lead would be a company specific real time lead.

Many marketers get scared off at the thought of generating their own leads when really there is only 1 essential tool required. It's called a lead capture page and it's the exact same tool that ANY Real Time lead generator would be using to generate the very same leads that you would normally be purchasing from them. The lead generated from that type of generic advertisement is a generic home business lead nothing more nothing less no matter how much sugar coating the lead retailer wants to put on it. Just because a lead is a Real Time lead doesn't automatically make it a good lead. You have NO idea what advertisement these leads responded to. You have NO idea what type of business the generic real time mlm leads are looking for.

The lead retailer knows in order to make the most amount of money possible from every lead that they generate the leads need to be workable by a broad scope of network marketers hence why they keep them generic and not selling the benefits of any one particular company or product. Unfortunately the lead may not be so open to such a broad scope of business opportunities being pitched at them. And herein lies the advantage for the do it yourself lead generator.

You have the control to generate leads so targeted and specific for your opportunity that it really doesn't matter how many you generate they are going to convert to sales at some point because these are leads who have raised their hand and requested more information about your very specific offer. The type of lead you generate is directly related to the capture page you are advertising. If you are advertising a lead capture page that sells the benefits of a unique health and wellness product along with some of the benefits of that specific opportunity then you will be generating a lead that is specific to your company. You really cannot get much targeted than that can you?

Obviously you when running your own real time lead generation campaign you will be dealing with less prospects because you have have refined your marketing approach to a very select market. Your chance of actually connecting with someone and making that sale is much greater because the lead has been laser targeted to your specifications, they are real-time fresh and totally exclusive to you.

If you're looking to spend your money on real time MLM leads for your opportunity then you really should consider the benefits to generating your own company specific real time leads. You'll spend less time sorting and more time selling!

Thats why pooling together with a few of your associates and running a small advertising co-op can be great way to leverage your advertising budget into some high quality and high traffic advertising.

Lets pretend that we have a group of 5 distributors and everyone has decided they have an advertising budget of $300 for the first month. Thats $1500 and can buy a lot of advertising. What are you going to do with it? What tools will you need to pull this lead generation co-op off?

You’re going to need to make sure you have set yourself up properly.

Online Tools Required:

Targeted Domain Name. $9.00/Year. x 1 = $9.00
Lead Capture Pages w/autoresponders (5) 1 for each member. $97.00/yearly x 5 = $485
Rotator System (Rotates All 5 Sites From A Single URL). FREE.

Oops… Forgot to mention if the first purchaser of the lead capture pages joins my affiliate program and the others buy through the issued affiliate link you'll earn $30 per sale.

$30.00 x 5 = $150 BACK to you.

Now if you've done your math correctly we've still got $1156 Bucks leftover for advertising…

Thats PLENTY of dough to pull of any type of MLM lead generation campaign and now that we have the right tools for the job we can get started… The absolute key with an advertising co-op like this is that you MUST diversify your ad spend.

You definitely don't want all $1156 of your groups advertising dollars into one advertising channel it could spell disaster if that channel doesn't pan out.

Where on earth are we going to spend our lead generation money?

Well… If you're looking to generate home business or mlm type leads I would start by purchasing a few text/banner ads on some high ranking and high traffic websites for keywords related to your opportunity.

Here’s what I found for you.

#1. AlbertaRose.Org - #1 in Google for "Home Business Opportunity". For $85/month you can have a "Spotlight Opportunity Ad" I would buy 2 different ads here if they would allow it. This way you can run TWO ads with different copy and see which pulls the best. You may want to advertise more here. 2 x $85.00 = $170…

$986 left…

#2. Home Based Working Moms - #1 in Google for "work at home" Here I would again purchase a few options. For $350/month you can have a top sponsored banner on ALL 3 of this extremely high traffic network of websites. For an additional $70 you can run a sponsor ship ad in their work from home newletter with just over 8000 subscribers.
$350 + $70 = $420.

We have $566 left.

#3. MLM Insider - #1 - 10 for several highly searched MLM keywords on Google. For $200/month you can have a top sponsored banner. With a well designed banner this could be a decent little advertising honey pot as well. So lets spend $200 there.

We now have $366.00 left.

#4. Rent-A-List.Com - Advertising on those websites is great but we can't leave out targeted email marketing and Rent-A-List is one of the best when it comes to spam free advertising and they can actually guarantee you set visitor amounts. For $199.00 the Rent-a-list visionary plan will expose your offer to a minimum of 27,000 targeted prospects monthly, using two types of proven and effective advertising. You'll get 7000 emails with guaranteed 3500 visitors to your co-op url and you'll also get 20,000 text links on the MS media ad network. For $199 this is a really good deal. Make sure you call them and discuss your campaign so they can make sure you target the right list.

We have $167 dollars left… What to do what to do….?

#5. BidClix.Com - BidClix is a PPC network but unlike Google or Overture it's not really a search engine. They have your ads displayed on high traffic websites related to a specific channel. They have several business and finance channels that usually work quite well with an MLM lead generation campaign. I would spend $150 here.

We have $17.00 left… I think that should go to whoever spent the time to organize all this! lol…

Seriously though you've just spread out $1000 in co-op advertising money across several very targeted marketing channels. This will result in several thousand visitors to your lead generation campaign.

Lets be really conservative and say you only receive 6000 visitors to your campaign…

Lets be even more conservative and say that our lead capture pages are converting at 5%.

So 5% of our visitors are leaving their contact information….

You’ve just generated 300 real-time company specific leads for a cost of about $3.85 cents a piece… Thats 60 leads to each member in the co-op! Any leads company out there would be charging you at LEAST $4.50 per lead some even more!

Now your results could be better or they could be worse this is obviously marketing and it's not so clean cut and dry. But I wouldn't say that these expectations would be unreasonable.

It’s balled up into a site and then thrown at the visitor in a big marketing mess and most of the time they don't even hang around long enough to discover any hidden gems that may be lurking within your website and I am sure there are!

If your company has these marketing tools available to you then this little strategy I am about to share with you can help turn your next lead generation campaign into high gear with some of the best quality prospects you'll ever have dealt with. Ever! I promise.

Lead capture pages are a great tool… But they have to be used properly in order to reap maximum results. One of the mistakes beginners make with a lead capture page is not properly following up with their prospects.. The information giving process seems to come to an abrubt halt the moment the prospect submits at the lead capture page.

I’ll try to be a little clearer… You have probably submitted your information through several lead capture pages in your online marketing endeavors am I right? What happens to you the prospect when you submit your information?

Most of the time you end up on a simple "Thank You For Requesting More Information" page and you're left kind of hanging as to what the "Next Step" is… Usually they will have you loaded into an autoresponder where you will start receiving follow-up messages from their drip campaign on a regular basis.

What happened to the interactivity? You get this potential prospect all fired up and excited about your product or opportunity with your lead capture page and then they submit their contact information to you only to have to wait for your autoresponder message that will direct them to a conference call or maybe another website or who knows where! What's up with that?

It’s not that there is anything wrong with this strategy having a follow-up autoresponder campaign is great and I recommend one to everyone. The problem lies with the prospect basically left "high and dry" at a stage of the thinking process when they were mentally "excited" about your offer… It's the only reason they would submit their information through your page.

It’s absolutely critical that immediately following the prospects decision to learn more you give him/her MORE information laid out in a very easy to navigate fashion.. The prospect shouldn't have to wait for your autoresponder email to arrive as it may never even arrive due to the strength of the spam filters nowadays.

The solution to this problem? It's simple… The solution lies in creating yourself a custom "thank you" page that your prospects would land on after submitting their information. This is something a few steps further then just a basic "Thank You" for your information page.

You see… When a prospect submits their information through a lead capture page and they are in that "buying" or "hungry for information" state they will devour any information you have to offer them.

The key is to not give away the farm on your lead capture page… Just give a few juicy nuggets of information and then draw the prospect to fill out your form. On your thank you page is where you would want to place your company presentation, your company audios, your pdf marketing brochures, and any important links or numbers the prospect may need to know.

You can lay these items out in an easy follow fashion by labeling each option "Step #1, Step #2, etc…." and your prospect (if they are serious) will be kept busy for hours reviewing all of the material and learning about the products and opportunity.
The whole point of this strategy is to develop a spark of interest prior to sending your prospect all of the company marketing material.

By developing that initial spark of interest and getting them to submit their information through the lead capture page you have in a sense "captured" their attention in that moment and that's why it is critical you get this information to them immediately after they submit their details. This keeps the continuity going and prevents any lag or lapse from happening.

If the prospect was serious to begin with this strategy put into action you and your opportunity will be fresh in the prospects mind when you contact them. That is if they don't beat you to it!
